Tateyama Park

Famous as a spot where around 700 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Yamazakura, bloom, offering the chance to enjoy beautiful nighttime cherry blossoms in Spring. An observatory deck is set up within the park, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the city lights facing Nagasaki Port. Unlike the viewpoints at the summits of Mt. Inasa and Mt. Nabekanmuri, which offer distant views, here you’ll find a captivating view where the nearby cityscape competes with the lights of the hilly areas and the distant Megami Ohashi Bridge while creating a rich and different atmosphere.
